Because of the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Your Local Psychiatrist NYC is not accepting walk-in patients at this time. However, we are accepting new patients who may need mental health services such as counseling or psychotherapy and those in need of medical services such as internal medicine or primary care.
To help protect the health of our patients and our healthcare practitioners, we are conducting the majority of our care via telemedicine/teletherapy. Telehealth technology offers an advantage for patients, physicians, and therapists, especially during the current public health crisis. It is an effective way to provide care while following social distancing guidelines. Because this technology can help eliminate the need for many in-office visits, it is currently our preferred method of delivering healthcare.
