Dr. Mian Siddique, MD

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist in New York, practicing via Telemedicine and accepting new patients residing in New York. I did my psychiatric training at The University of the State of New York.

Psychiatric symptoms/disorders are often complex and are usually influenced by genetic factors, environmental/social stimuli, and personal experience. I do a comprehensive initial assessment to determine the need for medications and if medications are indicated, I carefully consider the risk-benefit alternatives of medications.

Marissa Penn, LMSW

Marissa (she/her) is a seasoned psychotherapist, educated at NYU’s Silver School of Social Work, with almost 10 years of experience in various mental health treatment settings.  Before this, she obtained her J.D. in law where she focused on advocating for underserved communities.  She was drawn to the human connection that she could have with her patients now that she felt had been missing in her legal career.

Marissa is empathic, warm, open-minded, and relational in her therapeutic approach.  She specializes in treating adults with co-occurring disorders, including substance use disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, personality disorders, and more.  Currently, she is seeking out additional training in EMDR and is interested in how she may be able to employ this therapeutic technique to help those affected by trauma.  In her time outside of work, Marissa enjoys being in nature with her dog, cooking, baking, the arts, spending time with her family, and traveling abroad.  She plans to pursue a PhD and hopes to teach in the future.
