I received my FNP degree and later obtained my PMHNP degree. I have practiced medicine for 10 years and have worked as a RN for over 15 years which has provided me with a vast array of knowledge and experience working with people. I have worked in a variety of settings with individuals of all ages. I have worked in primary care, hospital medicine, geriatric care, telemedicine, and home health care. I have experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, alcohol dependence, ADHD, and eating disorders like binge eating and bulimia. In addition to my knowledge and expertise in treating psychiatric conditions, I have extensive training in primary care and chronic disease management including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, and degenerative joint disease management. I believe in treating the whole individual and tailor my treatment plan based on the person in front of me. I believe that health -care should be individualized and cater to the specific needs of each person. I am frequently told I am a good listener and I pride myself on having a positive attitude and a good sense of humor. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and exercising.
